Have you ever heard the saying “if you don’t like it a book a couple chapters into it then just put it down?” I wish there was a saying for that involving movies because if there was I would have applied it to Fahrenheit 451.
This movie is based off of a book which I currently have not read and now do not plan on it. I didn’t think it was going to be possible to make an awful movie with Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon in it but my goodness they did just that. I have a strong feeling this is the classic “the movie did the book a terrible justice” when it comes to this movie. Potentially I may have had too high of expectations and the fact it was on HBO perk my interest because they have been so great at developing series but the movie just fell flat.
As I am typing this review I honestly cannot even remember the entire plot because it felt so bland and flat. I wish I could provide more details about the movie but I am already getting just as bored typing about it as I was watching it.
Fahrenheit 451 is receiving 1.54 buckets of popcorn.
